A delightful find, with sweet sentiments this little antique Georgian 'lace pin' is heavily embossed with romantic floral motifs around a central locket section which could hold a precious scrap of fabric or hair. It may have been gifted by an admirer or may be in memory of a love lost; 'tis such a charming idea. The reverse has a reference to the event with the hand engraved date of 17th September 1821 and the initials 'SS' in a scrolling script. 

In 15ct gold, it measures 20mm by 16mm and fastens with a classic 'C' clasp.
